Revelstoke Mountain Resort, British Columbia
Description
Revelstoke Mountain Resort stands at the edge of the Columbia Mountains in British Columbia, about 400 kilometers east of Vancouver. At 5,620 feet of vertical — the most of any ski resort in North America — Revelstoke is defined by scale. Long top-to-bottom descents, consistently deep natural snowfall, and terrain that challenges expert skiers and welcomes beginners alike make it one of the most complete ski destinations in Canada.
The lift network starts with the Revelation Gondola, which rises from the valley floor in two segments (Lower and Upper) to access the mid-mountain area. From there, The Stoke and Stellar quads serve groomed terrain and intermediate runs, while The Ripper quad — one of the resort's longest lifts — opens up the upper mountain and the expert glades and above-treeline zones that Revelstoke is known for.
Easy and beginner terrain includes The Last Spike, Greenhorn, Sally Alley, Big Bend, and the rolling Downtowner. The intermediate zone covers much of the mountain via Devil's Club, Fast Fred's, Blowdown, Hollywood, Chopper, Burn Down, and the long traversing Ninja Traverse and Critical Path. Expert skiers push into Powder Assault, Discipline, Mania, SWF, Kill The Banker, Pitch Black, Greely Bowl, and the remote Greely Trail.
On-mountain, Revelation Lodge and Mackenzie Outpost anchor the experience. The town of Revelstoke at the base offers dining, lodging, and a genuine small-town BC character. Navigate the full mountain with the Revelstoke Mountain Map app, your companion for interactive trail maps and real-time lift status.
