Description
Sun Peaks Resort rises above the high plateau of British Columbia's Interior, offering a ski experience that rewards both first-timers and committed powder-seekers. Three interconnected mountains — Tod Mountain (the main peak), Morrisey Mountain, and Sundance Mountain — provide 4,270 acres of terrain and the variety that comes with genuine mountain scale.
The resort's terrain spans the full spectrum. Beginners build confidence on East Village Skiway, Homesteader, Cahilty, and the gentle runs near the village base. Intermediate riders have exceptional options across all three mountains, including the 5 Mile run — at over 12 kilometers, one of the longest groomed ski runs in North America — as well as Cruiser, Exhibition, Crystal Run, Roughlock, Alley, Blue Line, and Pow Wow. Expert skiers push into Challenger, Expo, Green Door, Chute, In Tatters, Tumble Dry, Stone Creek, Father Tom's, Bluff, and the challenging terrain of Morrisey Mountain and the Bug Out Glades.
The Sun Peaks village offers ski-in/ski-out access, a compact pedestrian center with dining, lodging, and amenities, and an atmosphere that feels distinctly more intimate than its size might suggest. Navigate the full resort with the Sun Peaks Mountain Map app, your companion for interactive trail maps and real-time lift status.
