Sundance Resort, Utah
Description
Sundance Resort occupies a striking position in Provo Canyon, tucked beneath the towering ridgeline of Mt. Timpanogos. It's a mountain defined as much by what it isn't — crowded, commercial, hectic — as by what it is: scenic, personal, and genuinely satisfying to ski.
Six lifts serve terrain across all ability levels. Beginners build confidence on Outlaw, Stampede, and the Beginner Area. Intermediate skiers have excellent options on runs like Maverick, Montoya, Bear Claw, Broadway, and Panorama. Expert skiers find real challenge in Bishop's Bowl, Top Gun, Mandan, No Excuse, Freddie's, and the steep terrain accessed from the top of the mountain.
On-mountain, the resort's base area and Sundance ZipTour anchor the guest experience. The mountain stays true to its natural setting throughout. Navigate the full resort with the Sundance Mountain Map app, your companion for interactive trail maps and real-time lift status.
